I see you have stumbled onto Professor Jon Chan's "About Me" page on this rascally blog.
Well let's get straight to the point:
I am a third year Berwick student, currently doing a Professional Communications degree.
I have multiple qualifications in the media indiustry by eithering being a DJ and Host of my own radio station, writing for multiple magazines and local newspapers, as well as being a semi-accomplished film-maker, producer, director and, at times, actor.
It is through these myriad of interests that has led me to accumulate a variety of skills within multimedia and an interest in E-Journalism as I believe that, ultimately, a convergence of a variety of multimedia will be the prefered way that users will choose to consume their news.
Although, for the most part, my writing is essentially comical and light-hearted, this does not reflect upon my inherent desire to become a serious practicioner of journalism and hope to, one day, be a prominent writer for a major news outlet such as the BBC.
Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, let's get onto the actual amazing qualities about myself which deserve to be heard.
I can grow a FANTASTIC moustache. Seriously. Look at it. You know you want to stroke it's downy softness.
I wear glasses immediately making me more intelligent than you average bear, not human, bear.
Can do the 3x3 and 4x4 Rubix Cube after one long procrastination session
Mixed Martial Artist so I'm slightly tougher than your average human, not bear, human.
The ability to make lists. BAM! LISTS!
Also writing in a comedic fashion. A skill guaranteed to get me almost nowhere in a serious publication
Well that's the basic summary, hope you guys enjoy it!
